    Great player with very easy playlist implementation. It would’ve been nice if currently playing thumbnail was highlighted and if each movie had it’s own splash image but even without the mentioned this is great work.

    I guess a currently active thumbnail can be highlighted with css and javascript when using playlist.

    Is there a way to autoplay only the first second of each movie? I am trying to figure out a way to display each movie its own splash screen when using a playlist.

    We got a custom version of your player, and it works great except there is some heavy video stuttering that occurs when videos are played… I understand there is some internal action script buffering that can be done to improve this, BTW I am not referring to buffering the file the file is fully cached locally and this still occurs, its an internal flash player buffer…

    Something like
    my_FLVPlybk.bufferTime = 2;

      Check your hardware performance, it is not about cache if you say the file was fully cached. I received a request like this and the problem was that the hardware was too slow in performance to process big videos (in size w/h) rendered in small player or vice-versa.

    One PC is Dual Xeon 5160 Dual Core with 8GB Ram, the other is i7 8 Cores, with 9GB ram, both have 1GB video cards…

    I very much doubt its my computer hardware.

    WHAT?! When I take a flv file from a VEOH video, and play the file through your player – it only works for a certain time….. after like a few hours when I click play on the player, nothing happens. Why is this happening and what should I do?

      BE VERY careful with the servers that use cache for video files!
      After a while the cached video file expire and the player will try to play a non existent file.
      Same for youtube, google videos, metacafe …
      Best solution is to download the video and re-upload it on a non cached server/videoprovider

    But I’m getting the flv file from another custom player that has taken the flv file from veoh…. so if thats the case, why then does the flv file play on his video player and not my in. This is the flv file which I have taken from this site > http://www.animefreak.tv/watch/bleach-episode-44-english-dubbed-online-free#English (if you scroll down, you’ll see their video player, their using that player to play the veoh flv file.

    When I use this flv file, it only plays for a certain amount of time like I said before. If the case was that the flv file expires, then why does the other video player (the link above) can still play the flv file.

    Also….. when I use the that flv file, it only works for a certain amount of time – then the video stops playing. But when I go to the same video and take the flv file again, and match it with the old flv file, their the same! So, what I’m trying to say, is that I don’t think the flv file expires, because when I match them, they’re the same.

    what they do with their partners, cache or no cache, is their business. Maybe they have special agreement on keys or other paramaters.

    i see……. that was not the flv file i was looking for, if you go to that site and click play on their custom player, ‘click on the *english subbed* tabbed above the video, you’ll find another video (thats the video I want to add’.

    But, after doing some research I found out Veoh.com started changing its flv files. So if a video has this flv file >> http://veoh-141.vo.llnwd.net/Vpreviews/p/8de8efeaec9a04fd7fe92571e39e8ec82efd6f5c.fll?e=1246922547&ri=4500&rs=75&h=92b5b9e6fa2e7a4bd2221464c4a6e128

    In about few hours, the flv file will change to something like http://veoh-141.vo.llnwd.net/Vpreviews/p/8de8efeaec9a04fd7fe92571e39e8ec82efd6f5c.fll?e=NEW NUMBERS&ri=4500&rs=75&h=92b5b9e6fa2e7a4bd2221464c4a6e128

    I guess its not possible to use Veoh.com flv files now?

    Hi. I have big problem. I used to take URL from youtube and put to the player on my side. Recently they made some changes and player doesn’t play any movies from youtube. Is any way to do it again? Thanks for help.

      they use cached videos instead of a direct link to a specific video ..

      Is any way to do it again?
      Well , use the youtube player or download the video to your server.

    sa inteleg bine..acest player il pot folosi pe website-ul meu pentru video-uri de pe alte site-uri nu? pentru ca vreau sa uploadez niste filmuletze pe exemplu:dailymotion si sa le bag la mine pe site(nu am bani ptr propiul videohosting) ca si cum as avea eu propriul player si propiul hosting fara ca la sfarsit de video sa apara listele alea de video-uri de la daylimotion ptr ca folosesc player-ul lor.plz astept un raspuns

      Cei mai importanti video hosteri (ex. youtube, google, metacafe …inclusiv dailymotion) au un sistem de streaming bazat pe video cache care expira (link-ul catre video) dupa cateva ore.
